Brigitte Trust Seven Hills to Surrey Hills 2011
The 2011 Brigitte Trust Seven Hills to Surrey Hills, Sheffield to Box Hill, was a huge success with £7000 and much-needed publicity raised for the charity - and all five members of the team making it to the top of Box Hill to the cheers of a large, appreciative crowd.
This was a classic cycling tale of guts and determination, of pretty country lanes and heaving city centres, of grazed knees and gout, of porridge and flapjacks, of luxury hotels and rural pubs, and of back ache and the power of massage. Personal goals were met and surpassed, and even when exhaustion looked like winning, the team came together to keep themselves going.
Well done to Jen, Kirsty, Anna, Mike and Robin. Heroes all.
141 photos from the ride can be found here.

Finally a big thanks to Holiday Inn Barnsley and Holiday Inn Leicester for their generosity and support.
