However you look at the CHECT South Coast Spectacular it was an unqualified success.

The bare facts tell you that over £14k has been raised so far for the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust, while there have also been significant steps taken in raising awareness of the little known disease of Retinoblastoma.

On top of this, 8 riders have conquered all kinds of inner demons and fears, not to mention seriously steep climbs and appalling weather, to complete a gruelling 200-mile ride.

And to cap it all, inspired by these riders, a further 8 people have signed up for further CHECT events.
